Pamper your JALUDEK in October! It is in this month that it is most often weakened.
A well-functioning Stomach is very important in Traditional Chinese Medicine, as it works with the Spleen to create energy that is the source of life force for our entire body. The Stomach allows food to ripen and decompose, separating the clean from the unclean. It sends the clean to the Spleen, which further distributes the Qi energy it has obtained, and sends the impure to the small intestine, where it is expelled.
When this process works properly, digestion and metabolism are perfectly balanced and we have a healthy appetite. When the Stomach functions well, the other organs are strong.
From good quality food, the Spleen pathway "produces" good quality "fuel" i.e. Qi energy and Xue blood, which are necessary for the healthy functioning of the body. Conversely, poor quality food tends to cause many imbalances in the body.
So what is the best way to manage - not only in October?
Breakfast is essential - the most energy is found in the Stomach between 7 and 9am, so if you are starving, your body is left without the energy it needs and can't value later food as well for the benefit of your organs. Cereal porridges - corn, barley, oats, buckwheat, rice - or warm soups are best.
Make every meal a quiet ritual - don't eat in front of the TV, computer, or deal with work problems while eating. But the best food, which you eat in a hurry and stress, will not bring you any benefit - on the contrary.
Watch WHAT and WHEN you eat - quality food is not what we like, but what makes us feel good. The principle that a good meal (good for our body) is one that makes us feel better than before. It follows from this that if a person is tired, sleepy, bloated and feeling heavy in the stomach after a meal, that meal was not the right meal for them.
